BIG HAND STITCH QUILTING FOR BEGINNERS CLASS

Ever wanted to artfully Big Stitch quilt your own project but didn’t know where to start? Then this four-hour class is the class for you! Learn to baste a quilt sandwich; tie and bury a knot; evenly stitch your creation; and learn how it differs from hand quilting and Sashiko. You will discover techniques and tools to create texture and express yourself with needle and thread.
Required kit will include all materials needed to make a big-stitched table runner. Students will supply scissors or snips; thimble; low tack ¾” or 1” painters’ tape; and a needle threader (optional).

Want to create a small wall hanging to brighten any room and to celebrate spring? This class is for you! You will learn how to make Dresden flowers and how to applique them down.
