NOVEMBER 7, 2018 NEWSLETTER
As I sit on the bench outside the shop, enjoying a second cup of morning coffee, I am in awe at the glorious colors that surround me. I love how the lawns are scattered with hundreds of leaves of all different shapes and hues. I can’t help myself—I begin to mentally plan a quilt in these colors. Does the splendor of the autumn foliage inspire your quilting? Do you tend to gravitate toward golds, crimsons, oranges, and browns at this time of year? I hope you are taking the time to walk outside and gather inspiration from the beauty around you.
If you haven’t already discovered it, make sure to check out Trenton’s latest attraction, The Traveler’s Lantern. Once you step inside, you are greeted with a vast array of farmhouse décor which would make Joanna Gaines drool! Next, you will notice the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffees, lattes, and cappuccinos; freshly baked muffins, scones, and pastries; and wonderful sandwiches and salads! It is a truly wonderful shop—one more reason to make Trenton your destination!

MINI RETREAT IN THE CLASSROOM (FINAL ONE FOR 2018)
NOVEMBER 26-30th—Tuesday-Friday. We will meet at 10 a.m. and sew until whenever. You will be amazed at how much you can get done! Come and join us for one day or for all four days. YOU MUST CALL THE SHOP TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!! Space in our classroom is limited. There is no fee for this retreat.
THURSDAY SIT AND STITCH
Each Thursday, from 10-4, you are invited to join us in our classroom for a free day of sewing! Bring any project you wish—UFO’s, mystery quilt, binding, etc.—and stitch a while with friends! No need to sign up ahead of time for this one (at least for now). Please note: if a class or retreat is going on during this time, we will not have it that day.
TRENTON HANDWORK GROUP
Come to a fun handwork group that meets monthly each FIRST TUESDAY of the month from 10:00 am—1:00 pm in the Quilt and Sew classroom. If you want to learn new techniques, find portable projects, and share the latest in English paper piecing, red-work, embroidery, and more, this group is for you!
