TRENTON’S SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION is this  Friday and Saturday, December 6th & 7th. Every business in town will be participating with events, special deals, drawings, music, etc. Here at Quilt and Sew, we are getting into the spirit as well! Here’s what’s happening at the shop now and through this weekend:        

**All Kaffe Fassett & Tula Pink fabrics, fat quarters and precuts are 50% off (1/2 yard min. cuts on yardage).
**Gift Cards Special: For every $50 gift card purchase, receive
    a bonus $5 card to use for yourself or to include with your gift. For every $100 gift card purchase, receive a bonus $10
card to use for yourself or to include with your gift.

**All GIFT ITEMS 30% off—includes mugs, tins, storage boxes, notepads, bags, ornaments, totes, socks, and tea towels.

 

**Drawing**Come in on Friday or Saturday and put your name in for a chance to win a beautiful quilted stocking stuffed with goodies (Retail value $175 each). We will have two stockings, filled with goodies, to give away. No purchase necessary for a chance to win. Drawing is Saturday at 5:00.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

                We will be closed Sunday, December 22-Wednesday, December 25 for Christmas.

                We will be closed Sunday, December 29-Wednesday, January 1 for New Years.

                     JINGLE FOR YOUR JANUARY                  

This was such a hit last year we are doing it again. With every purchase of at least $25 that you make throughout the month of December, you will be given a SEALED RED ENVELOPE. This envelope contains information regarding a free GIFT and COUPON. Present the unopened envelope when you return in January to redeem your GIFT and find out what your coupon is! You may only use one envelope per day in January—and it MUST be unopened!! You may begin using your red envelopes on January 2nd.

Happenings This Weekend in Trenton!!!

 Kids can meet and greet the Grinch, decorate their own sugar cookie, and write letters to Santa (that will be answered!).
They will have an opportunity to pet Christmas lambs.
The Trenton Christmas Parade is on Saturday at 4:30. Santa will be there! The Trenton Community Center will offer a chili supper followed by a $5 movie nite in the auditorium. "The Polar Express" is playing.

NEW CLASSES:

SNAPPY TOTES—Wednesday, December 11 from 10-2. Join Teri as she walks you through construction of this adorable little bag. Use parts of a metal tape measure for the closure. Fee is $10. Project is suitable for confident beginners. Very few spots are still available for this class, so sign up and pay ASAP to officially reserve your spot.



WOVEN SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENT: Teri Solsbury will be teaching this class on—Friday, December 13 at 5:30 pm (new date/time). No sewing is required for this adorable craft project. Fee is $10. Limited seats available. Call today to sign up and pay to reserve your spot. These ornaments require no sewing, so anyone can join us! These make beautiful tree decorations, but also look amazing on special presents! You will want to make LOTS of them! Class fee is $10—please use fabrics purchased at the shop.



TUCKER UNIVERSITY—LARGE SQUARE SQUARED: Saturday, December 7th, 10:30-3:30. Join Justine as you learn how to use the Large Square Squared tool from Studio 180 to construct an Economy Block and a Snail’s Trail block. As with all Studio 180 tools, you will be cutting larger and trimming to precise measurements at each step, resulting in highly precise units. This tool is also perfect for helping you to showcase embroidery blocks! Class fee is $60 and includes all tools used in the class.

T’WAS THE LIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS: A TODD COUNTY TOUR:

The 1st annual T’was the Lights Before Christmas: A Todd County Tour is set to begin December 1st across Todd County. Visitors are invited to explore Todd County by traveling our beautiful, rural countryside while enjoying Christmas lights displays all around Todd County. An online map will be available December 1st at www.ExploreToddCounty.com to provide visitors with a self-guided tour across our county. Locally, the businesses on Main Street in Trenton will be decked all out for the season. Our shop will have a beautiful display that includes a spot that would make a lovely backdrop for your holiday pictures! We hope you enjoy this new, small town tradition. You will also have an opportunity to vote for your favorite display.
